A moment

Do you ever have one of those backpack moments? For me it's one of those moments when you take that huge camping/hiking backpack off your shoulders and lay those burdens at the cross. It seems like all to often we pick them back up and are weighed down time and time again. It's time we start remembering that we don't need to take that with us. It's not ours and never was. Give it all over to God.

Slacking on the blog

It's been a few months so I know I've been slacking on keeping up on this blog and 365 new poems. I've put a good dent into the 365 and that's been very good for me. I've got a new mac laptop which is motivating me to write everywhere I go and late into the night. It's been a bit of a struggle so far this year in some areas...I've been sick with pneumonia, then brochitis and I've been spending far to much time by myself. It's very hard to stay up and not drown myself in anger and bitterness. I guess I should take all this time and be writing. I have a bit of a rant I think I will get out here...It is extremely hard for a single christian man almost 30 who has a son to meet single christian women. I have tried the internet to the end of the earth with no luck. I've met alot of people in the same boat but what do we do? We pray of course but it's very hard to be patient in this endeavor. Ok so much for that! I've climbed out of the stone age and got an attachment for my mp3 player for my car. It is a very good investment. Keeps you focused on God when nothings on the radio. Ok... I've said enough more than enough for now. God Bless and thanks for stopping by.

Been a while

It's been a long time since I've blogged. Many things have happened. I moved into my first house of my own. I've plugged away at getting the book done. The formatting is driving me crazy how it appears on one computer isn't always the same on another. I graduated from the Way of the Master Biblical Evangelism School. So some very good things. Personally life has been extremely challenging. Please keep me in your prayers. I'm having some struggles. I am trying to keep up with my goal of 365 poems written this year for the website. God Bless you and don't let anything distract you from the life God has called you to live.

Get on Fire!!

If you don't have a fire to see the lost saved I challenge you to view your mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, neighbor, coworker, child in eternal torment and looking straight at you asking why didn't you tell me about Jesus, my sin, God. If that doesn't touch your heart nothing will. Stay in the word everyday. Find at least one way to minister to someone. Drop off a tract, make a phone call, leave a note, make a website, a video whatever it is do it to reach the lost. Pray to God on how you can reach people. Pray for boldness, Pray for strength. Walk out a biblical life.

What do you really believe?

I've just found a poll that only 10% of believers think that the bible is the true word of God. Are there any true believers left? I've been working hard on reaching the lost, moving, working and much much more. But I always find time for God and at least 1 verse of scripture as I go through my day. Please keep praying, believing and serving.

Blessings in the Fire

I'm so blessed right now to tell you that no matter how hard life can get God is so good. I've been going through the fire for close to 4 years now and God has put a joy in my heart that almost moves me to tears daily. I'm working hard on some new messages and I've had to put my book on hold but I'm sure things will improve on that front soon. Thank you to everyone who visits this site I hope that God uses to do great things in your life and that you are encouraged.
